Meet Dr. Michael Fesler

 

Dr. Michael Fesler is a specialist in orthodontics, and has received additional residency training to certify him in the art and science of tooth movement. He is dedicated to creating beautiful, straight smiles for children and adults of all ages.

Education

Dr. Fesler grew up in Carrollton and graduated from Newman Smith High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University in Waco in 1996. Dr. Fesler continued his studies at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. While at Baylor, he was elected to the Odontological Honor Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.

Dr. Fesler graduated as class valedictorian in 2001, and won the Gold Medal Award for academic and clinical excellence as well as the Alpha Omega Honor Award. During dental school, Dr. Fesler had the opportunity to work in the orthodontic department and treat some of his dental patients with braces. This solidified his desire to continue his studies after dental school by pursuing an orthodontics degree. Dr. Fesler completed specialty residency training in orthodontics at Baylor in 2003. His orthodontic credentials include a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science degree.  Dr. Fesler has been named a D Magazine Best in Orthodontics 8 times by his peers, including the last vote in 2022, as well as many "Best of" awards voted by the community.

Outside the Office

Dr. Fesler enjoys all kinds of athletic activities and currently plays indoor soccer on a weekly basis and has the pleasure of coaching soccer for his younger kids. He and his wife Kimberly have three children, and are active members of Mercy Presbyterian Church in Dallas.
